On January 20, 2013, a fiscal 2012 long distance relay race happened in the Nagasaki shipyard (Koyagi shipyard) of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and an Oshima shipyard team consisting of President Minami and Oshima shipyard’s enthusiasts ran the race. Despite of their desperate run, the team ended up with 116th place, which fell far short of the 41stposition in the race in the previous year. All runners and cheerleaders took part in the event, wearing new uniform prepared for a triathlon this summer.

The next sport event is a triathlon planned this summer. Preparations are currently underway to entice as many participants as possible.
