A ceremony to celebrate the completion of a new office annex was held on March 25, 2013.
The new three storied building is of ferroconcrete structure. In the building are a Seven Eleven outlet on the first floor, main hall to be able to accommodate 200 people on the second floor and special conference room/ special reception room and offices for classification society’s inspectors and shopowner’s representatives on the third floor, respectively. Oshima shipyard offices of Materials, Accounting and Human Resources Sections and Quality Assurance and Iron Works Department, and Cooperative Association Office migrated to the new building. Offices for representatives from ship owners and Classification Societies’ Offices also moved out to the new building.
