The 2013 New Year Opening Ceremony took place in the Oshima shipyard painting factory on January 6, 2014. As usual, President Minami and the labor union chairman delivered new years’ address and all employees pledged zero-accidents by shouting “Safety First.” And then, an award ceremony was held to commend “Good Deed” and “Achievements” as 12 New Year’s commendations consisting of one special award, 2 President’s awards and 9 shipyard Manager’s awards. Finally, the New Year opening ceremony came to an end with all people’s praying led by the general manager of the construction department for zero accidents and their health.
