The safety praying ceremony was held concurrently with the nationwide safety week from July 1 to July 7th.

Safety praying was held in the respective sites of “Yutoku Shrine” and “God of Happiness Shrine” within the compound of Oshima shipyard with the attendance of those who are concerned with. After the safety praying was over, all employees got together before a Yutoku Shrine and prayed safety all together in unison. President, the labor union chairman delivered speech and the shipyard manager lectured about general safety precautions. All attendants called out “Safety” and “Check “and pledged safety first and zero-accident.

The slogan announced by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare for the fiscal year is “Let’s join our hands to raise safety awareness of zero accidents.”
