A safety praying ceremony was held in conjunction with the nationwide safety week from July 1 to July 7.

Safety praying was held in the respective sites of “Yutoku Shrine” and “God of Happiness Shrine” within the Oshima shipyard compound with the attendance of people concerned. After the safety praying was over, all employees got together before Yutoku Shrine and said a prayer for safety in chorus. The president and labor union chairman of Oshima Shipbuilding Co. delivered their respective speeches and the shipyard manager talked about comprehensive safety precaution. All attendants called out “Safety” and “Check “and pledged safety first and zero accidents.
